The greatness of God allows for him to be love alone, without any physical embodiments; this is pure love energy of love, as spirit alone.
In life, physical veneers are added to the spirit of yourself, and of God in you, and these act as filters, and so physical love is more built around the connection to the physicalness of others, and yourself, whereas spiritual love for God, and for mankind itself, remains as pure as it is with God, if you drop the filters, and do not become entrenched only in the filter, ensconced by it alone.
In other words, "see the wood, and the trees"
Senryu: Real love
Love is physical.
God enters. Love then becomes,
Spiritual love.

Love street exists in both the physical and the spiritual.
Both can be connected to God's highway in the sky.

Yes, I think that I agree with you there.
Spiritual love is the same as unconditional love, but physical love has conditions attached to it.
Spiritual love is the higher type of love equated to also being unconditional love.

Physical love is motivated by our body while spiritual love is at a deeper level inspired by inner yearning and a sense of gratitude.
Physical love tends to take a back seat as we age while spiritual love comforts us all our lives.
We have limitations in exhibiting physical love while spiritual love has a ring of halo around it that comforts and heals not only the hurts in us but also others - siva

Thanks, siva. You said that very well.
"The spiritual meaning of love is measured by what it can do. Love is meant to heal. Love is meant to renew. Love is meant to bring us closer to God.
Marcus Aurelius, an ancient Roman Emporer said this, and it is still pretty true today.
Yes, as you said, spiritual love, has a halo around its love, which also grows around us, the more that we love others unconditionally, spiritually.

@Shiva49 Yes, it is always the self-made borders that board us in, or board us up, to our being our real selves, for God, for ourselves, and for the greater world too.

@innertalks Yes Steve, when we move on to spiritual love by a notch higher even without discounting physical love, then our problems will pale into insignificance.
Spiritual love unites us and then we enjoy the sublime presence of our creator and proceed to live without man made artificial borders - siva
