April 24 - What I'm Thankful for Today

How's it going? It was another good day with a lot to be thankful for. I'm thankful for getting the notifications done twice today. I really like keeping up. It doesn't feel overwhelming. And I get to spend time on your profiles seeing what you're up to while we're all on lockdown or quarantine of some kind. I'm thankful I got to the store and bought bananas. It was the only thing I needed. I'm thankful I ran into a manager who works with my son. We had a good conversation before we went our separate ways at the store. I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. I'm still getting it organized. Think about dropping a stack of papers and they're all out of order and you need to put them back in the right sequence, but you can't seem to get some of the papers in the right order. Yep, that's what I'm facing with Vendetta. I have a sequence of events situation that's out of order and I'm working to get it all to make sense. I can't just cut it because all of it is relevant to one of the major scenes in the book. I should have it worked out tomorrow. I was going to try for an easy fix, but the easy fix didn't work. I'm thankful for what I have fixed. I'm thankful I got all my steps and bicep curls while working here and watching TV. The night's not over yet, so we'll see how many steps I can add before I go to bed. I'm thankful my new swimsuit came in the mail. Now all I need is for the lockdown to end and get back to the pool. I'm thankful for the food I ate today. I still need to calculate it, but I think I did well with everything except the sodium. That is going to be high. I'm thankful my knees are both doing well today. It's a real pain when the weather has major storms going through. It might be a bit rocky next week as four out of seven days are rain. The good thing is the temps. We're in the upper 50s low 60s next week. Yes, I'm okay with those warmer temps. Winter had to give way to spring sooner or later. Okay, that's my day.
