Maybe our dogs are happy because of the lockout that we are always at home. And when we go out, we bring them along even for short trips only. It is like a whole day of bonding that shows in the attitude of our dogs, they are more positive now and more affectionate too.

They love your company. And also waiting for their serving of food .

@Alexandoy The same relationship I had with my late dogs. Now it is the carts that are part of our family.

My dog too seems to be happier. I mean she could see her folks not leaving the house.

Thats possible and perhaps even probable. Our cat Felix seems to be enjoying seeing a lot more if us as well. Maybe they even miss us when we are out.

Certainly the pet misses us when we are not at home. You can see their actuation when you arrive home.

@Alexandoy True. It was only after we were away 2 nights that I noticed Felix the Cat acted different when we got back

@JimBo452020 our dogs would go ballistic whenever we would come home from abroad. Their tails are like an electric fan.

I'm usually home anyway, so nothing has really changed for my two dogs. They sleep on the couch most of the day like usual.

Lots of pets will be having withdrawal symptoms when everyone goes back to work again.
