How many past relationships is considered too much? / myLot

Hi Mylotters, I would just like to hear what other people's opinion are on this. Having past relationships are quite normal, but is there a number where it is already considered too much? I think having 5 exes might be a lot for a girl to have and i think for guys it might be higher. I'm quite sure it is sometimes unavoidable when relationships don't work out and at times it is not even the person's fault why it did not work out. It may also be a red flag that there might be a problem with the person why all the past relationships did not work out. But then do people really look into the history of a person and see what the issue is before entering into a relationship? *I just recalled being advised before to always check on a persons relationship history before going into a commitment. Would be happy to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks,

It's not about the number, it's all about finding the right one you would like to spend your whole life with and sticking to being loyal , happily married and raising children ( an option for some) in my opinion.

I don`t think there`s too much for having ex`s. We really can`t control what on your partners mind. There are times that no matter how much you give your best to maintain a good relationship, still there will come a time that it will not work out because your partner think so.

I dont' that the number is that important. Some people have many short relationships and some people have long relationships. I had 3 long term relationships before I met my husband. My last ex and I lived together for several years. My husband has had more more relationships than I do, but his relationships were much shorter than mine.

I personally think that it is fine to have more than five exes. It means a person hasn't found the right one yet.

hmm... i think the opinion depend each person. depend on the girl's opinion that you want to close with. is she open minded or not. just take it as positive mind. maybe you still have not find the one until you met"HER" (you want to close with and hope to enter serious relationship)
