Getting Caught Up In Drama

I'm not a person who likes to get caught in someone else's drama. However, that's exactly what happened yesterday.
There are two people in my building who don't like each other and no, I'm not talking about me and my ex-friend who lives down the hall. There are two other people who make it hard especially for me as they let me know about the other.
Until yesterday.
Yesterday, my neighbor motioned me into her apartment before I was fully in the door from returning from the store. She doesn't speak English, only Spanish. She immediately called her husband who lives in California, why I don't know, and had him talk to me in English.
She wanted me to call the office about the other neighbor she's had trouble with. He made me promise I would.
I keep my promises, even when I don't like what's going on. So, yes, I called the office this morning and told Meg that I don't like being caught in the middle and didn't want to be thought of in a bad way, and told her the situation. She listened. I could tell she wasn't happy with the call or the fact I got caught in the middle of this drama. She simply said she would let the manager know. I guess that means we have a new manager. I know they were looking for a new one.
I ended the call with Meg by letting her know my good news and how much weight I've lost now and all the walking I've been doing. She told me she knows where my weight went.
Do you like getting caught up in everyone else's drama? Or are you like me and prefer to keep out of it? Thanks for reading.
It's a bleak, rainy day today, so no outdoor walking. I'm getting my steps in though, so that's a good thing. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

What an awkward situation! It sounds like you handled it as gracefully as you could.

I usually prefer to steer clear of drama. You never know how another party is going to react anyway, especially if they aren't stable.

I will never talk with someone for another person to settle a feud between them. I'll make a 'round table' discussion with coffee and teas, probably, with two other witnesses (police and lawyer friends) and settle their disagreements by discussing respectfully and peacefully. ONLY IF I know these people well.

That's a good plan of action.
I don't know my neighbors well only as acquaintances.
