Gary Black who is a principal at the Trevilians Elementary School in Goochland County Virginia who has battling stage two pancreatic cancer since January received a surprise parade to cheer him up outside of his home on Sunday.
The idea for the secret parade for Principal Black is courtesy of his assistant principal Cristy Conway who the help of her colleagues decided to hold a surprise parade for her boss to cheer him up during his health challenge.
Staffers from Trevilian Elementary and Louisa County Schools assembled their parade plan at a parking lot at a Food Lion to give Black who is a very loved principal in Goochland a parade that cheered up his spirits to the highest degree.
If there is one positive of this crisis we are going through, it is that people are united to do their part to hold parades to make people that they work with and love to feel better when they are ill.

I noticed the sign in the picture. I can see why it said no sleep till remission. What people have to go through when they have cancer is horrible. That was so nice that people wanted to cheer him up by having a parade for him.

It shows that during this pandemic, a lot of people appreciate authority figures in schools who are battling sicknesses.
