Thank you I am still blessed

God is good. This ECQ (Enhanced Communituy Quarantine) has made all our lives so difficult but sometimes, maybe God is telling us something... Since we've had this, it's so sad to know that we now unemployed. I work for the academe. Unfortunately, our contract ended just in time when the lockdown was implemented. The original plan was few weeks before the lockdown, i was to send my resume to some friends because our contract was ending on the 15th of March. Like I said, I was already had some plans but this came sooner than I expected. Now I am now part of the unemployed / no work no pay. Now we are leaving with what we only have saved but it's looks so difficult at times. But you know what I'm still grateful for, our City Mayors and brangay chairman have been taking care of us. Weekly or every other week we are given rice, sardines, corned beef. Once in a while or if we have extra money we buy our basic necessities. We're still thankful that we still have food on the table. God still provides. With our condition I don't know if we are gonna be given financial help. We are praying and hoping but we don't know.... ahahaha.... But one thing is for sure, God won't let us down and we will still be blessed. One positive outcome of this... I will lose weight faster....hahahaha.... Have you realized something good from this pandemic?

I am retired, very little changed for my husband and I. We like to stay at home, now we have to stay at home a little more. We are cleaning the out and tossing what we do not need anymore.

Keep safe and take care. Enjoy your decluttering. I do that once in awhile and whatever i can give out and can still be used I give it a way to people who'll appreciate it.

Yeah student life.... I miss being a student that you won't have to worry much about expenses. Make the most of being a student because when you mature it'll be different. Take care and keep safe.

I hope things work out well for you. Times are tough for so many all over the world. I'm retired and have had no changes except going out with friends and shopping for clothes, etc. To be honest, I am enjoying being home and cooking more and reading more.

Here if you are a regular employee, whether or not you get paid but if you're a contractual you don't get anything.

@Softncuddly I won't get anything and no help from Government but I don't expect any help from Government because it's just a bunch of cheaters running the government.

That's great you're not going hungry. Yes, God will always provide. I'm seeing people are nicer, not everybody, but most of them are. I also have everything I need. God supplies all my needs.
