A doggy with a mind of her own!

This doggy of ours is taken on slightly longer walks at weekends than she gets during the week. Her name is Okami (don't ask!) and she is a 2-year-old border collie.
On Saturdays my wife takes her out for at least an hour and a half to give me time to get the house cleaned - the thinking being that it is a lot easier to do so without the dog chasing the vacuum cleaner!
On Sunday mornings we take her out together, for about as long (or longer) as the Saturday walks take.
Okami really enjoys being off the lead in the fields near our village, to the extent that she is often reluctant to being put back on it, which is essential when we have to cross a field with farm animals in it or meet a road with traffic passing along.
This morning she was a real pain, and on occasion we had to wait for ages for her to obey the "come here" command.
To be honest, she has never been good at this and we have had to resort to all sorts of tricks. This is a dog with a mind of her own - if she doesn't want to do something, she just doesn't do it!
Has anyone got any suggestions?

I suppose she's immune to treats? Border collies never seem to run out of energy, do they?

Bribery only goes so far! The problem is that she's far too intelligent for her own good!

I don't have a dog, but I have a cat. Yesterday I went out to water the flowers and put out the hummingbird feeder again. Lily came out with me. Lately she had been coming in with me when I would come back in, but yesterday she didn't. She would come to the door when I called once, but she refused to come in. I called her several times and she finally came in. Yes, I also suggest treats. Treats don't help getting Lily back in though.

carrying little bits of a treat and responded appropriately gets a treat perhaps, and lots of praise.
