Dill pickle pizza - cuz why not?

Does the quarantine have you eating funny stuff? Or trying new recipes? Being more adventurous with cooking? I love dill pickles and it's kind of a running joke with my roomies that we all love pickles. In the past, I have made them for dinner a dill pickle pasta salad, a creamy dill pickle soup, vegetarian pickle roll ups..And now I can check off my list that I have cooked and eaten this dill pickle pizza. I am attaching the recipe in case anyone else is curious. Relatively easy to make, relatively unhealthy (ha ha, just saying), and I made it with a crust you can buy at the grocery store, and this white home-made garlic sauce. Delicious and would suggest it if you are looking for something not TERRIBLY involved, not terribly healthy, but incredibly delicious! https://www.awayfromthebox.com/creamy-garlic-and-dill-pickle-pizza/ Have you been making anything strange or different lately? Do share!

I am a dill pickle fan, but I would pass on that. Besides enough salt on the cheese without adding pickles to it.

Probably pretty salty, but honestly, a normal frozen pizza tastes way saltier to me. This one tasted just right. Probably because the sauce is home made and without salt. Perhaps.

@maezee I can think of worse things on a pizza, anchovies for instance.

By maezee @maezee So far I am not eating something very different that I have been eating. That is very interesting how you have used dill pickles. I have put them in salads. I have never had them in pizza before. I see you really do use them a lot. Thanks for sharing all that with us.

You could say probably at least 50% of what I make is "strange." THIS one I am NOT sure about, and I am usually open to ANYTHING. That being said, I can still see the combination working. I mean, what if I added a little bit of hamburger meat? Wouldn't it just be a variation on a cheeseburger pizza? I like thinking outside the box and while this one does not SOUND appetizing, it probably was very good despite what it sounds like. What it tastes like is what is important in the end.
