I wanted to share with you a picture of pretty little bug I found in my garden some time last week. Some of you know that I am an avid gardener and very little in my garden goes unnoticed. Here is this cute little fellow in lime green with teeny little paws and pretty polka dots , I haven't seen the likes of him before. At first I thought that he was a ladybug of a different kind, but looks like he wears a transparent PPE. His transparent skin makes him look really cool. I know many of you don't like seeing bugs and insects, to me they are really fascinating. I take pictures of them, study their usefulness in my garden and decide whether I want to have them there or not. This guy stays for the moment until I have more information. Have you seen this bug before?

The bugs, particularly the lady bug with red polka dots, they are my friend in the garden because they eat the aphids.

Ladybugs are friends of every gardener. I actually brought them from my friends garden to mine.

One thing I like about insects and birds is their color. they have this beautiful color combination that only God Jah designs. Pretty bug!

@sofssu I have researched, it has been introduced in some countries to control thistle, they feed on those plants.

@LadyDuck We don't have thistle here. I will do a bit more search when have the time today. I don't want them eating any of my plants, they can feed on aphids all they like.

However, this bug is called the tortoise beetle. Its is very different from the ladybug from what little information I've gathered.
