Just Received Text About My Uncle

Many of you know my uncle is in a nursing home for several months now. Just got a text that he has tested positive for COVID.
My heart sank down to my feet. I was not real surprised, however it still stops you in your tracks to get this news. He is 90, will be 91 soon. But thankfully, he is in good health. So far he has no symptoms. And has been moved to the quarantine unit at the facility.
I knew it was just a matter of time. There have been over 50 positive cases at the facility, that I have read in the news. He will have a phone in quarantine. I hope to talk to him soon.
This photo was taken a few years ago of my dear uncle. I miss him so very much.

Don't lose heart, don't stop believing it will be good.
He is at a risky age but there have been cases where people have survived even though they have been positive for the virus

Devastating news to hear he has tested positive, but encouraging to hear that he is in good health and not currently showing any symptoms. Let's hope it stays that way. If he's got a good positive mental attitude, and a strong will to survive/live, then I think he's got a really good fighting chance against this thing. Humor also helps, as you know they say laughter is the best medicine. I will keep your uncle in my prayers.

Thank you Jeff. I have been just sick about this all day. I will call when I get his new phone number. He has a good attitude, even though he was very confused the last few times we talked. Talked about being at work, etc. Holding onto hope.

I am so very sorry to hear that about your uncle. Hopefully the fact that he's in fairly good health will help him survive this. I'll be praying too.

So many of the elderly seem to be affected by this. Glad thus far he is asymptomatic. I hope it stays that way.

What a nice looking man. I'm sure you are beside yourself with worry. Hopefully he will have a mild case and will recover quickly. I will pray for him and send positive, healing thoughts. Keep us posted.
