Sorry, but that's dumb

A facebook friend posts "If we can stand in line at Target, Walmart and Lowe's, we can stand in line in November. Say no to mail in voting. Make this go viral."
So I reply that whether you stand in line or vote by mail, that's your choice. That's freedom.
She remarks that "they" are pushing for only vote by mail.
So I go to the source and read the actual bill:
Nothing there saying you can't vote in person. The legislation would require states to "permit" mail in voting under certain circumstances such as a quarantine or if a person's polling place is closed. So I replied back that the actual bill does not prohibit in person voting.
I get the response that citizens are being bombarded with threats if they attempt to engage in activities that are perfectly legal. That there is already pressure to absentee vote. Just like masks, it's not required but the pressure is on to do what we are told to do.
Sorry, how moronic. You are against vote by mail because of peer pressure? What is this, 6th grade? Good grief.

If there is nothing to "fight" about or protest, leave it to someone to make up or imagine something. Yes, it is dumb.

@BarBaraPrz the thought had crossed my mind, but I don't generally block people for having different beliefs, just for abusive behavior.
