Micheal (not a typo) is the fella I play with in several bands. He's also the fella who records all of my YouTube videos. He's more of an equipment geek than I am, and has a pretty decent home studio. I prefer folk-based stuff, like John Prine's songs. He likes country swing more. But we're both big Gordon Lightfoot fans, and sometimes spend hours drinking beer and playing old Gordon Lightfoot songs in his garage. He convinced me to start playing more piano, and a visit to his house led to the improvisation, Little Bird, which some of you have heard. It was played on the slightly out of tune piano behind him and to his right. Behind him and to his left is the bass I play in most of my videos (and many of our gigs). And *I* convinced *him* to stop messing around with Spotify and Soundcloud and put some stuff out on YouTube. So while I've been practicing several songs at home, he has been recording some solo stuff and putting it out there on YouTube. If you'd be so kind, give this one a listen slap a "like" on it, and maybe leave a comment. But please *don't* mention me, including my alias here or my real name (which some of you know).
