Even thought they seem like cheap, flimsy plastic toys, they are actually made to be quite durable. How nice that you were able to retrieve it! Guess all that wind wasn't a bad thing after all.

@JudyEv The manufacturer must have sealed the electronic components inside the frame really well, if it still works with all that water that got in it. Does the camera still work as well? A lot of times moisture will get behind the lens and fog it up, and even though it may still work it becomes difficult to see anything until such time as all that moisture evaporates from inside the components. That was our only hope - that the wind would blow it free. And you're right - they must be quite durable. There was water draining out of the body of it when we picked it up but it's functioning properly now.

@JudyEv I remember that the drone ended up in a tree. I remember you thought the wind would blow it down. So glad you found it on the ground and that it is not damaged and still operational. I think they are rather cool.
