The young children who are oncology patients at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach Florida were greeted by some firefighters who stopped by on Saturday to cheer them up.
The children who being treated for illnesses since March were very happy that during a parade on Saturday called "Heroes for heroes." some of the firefighters were hoisted by a ladder to their rooms outside of the building along with their mascot a female dog named "Fire."
To make the day even sweeter for the children who are inside the hospital since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic, they were treated to enjoying a pizza from California Pizza Kitchen.
The firefighters were happy to do their part to visit the patients at the hospital since they are doing their duty to give back to their community.

That was so nice of the firefighters to visit the cancer patient kids. Sounds like they had a very special day. That must have been a lot to the cancer patients.

The funny thing is that I had a dog that passed away many years ago named Cienfuegos who was a mixed breed male dog whom my late mom named when we were living in the former Canal Zone in Panama.

@Jessicalynnt For some strange reason my late mom liked the name of a city in Cuba.

When I read heroes, I was thinking actors who played the role of the D C and Marvel super hero roster.
