Thanks to the assistance of Al Copeland Junior through the Al Copeland Foundation which he donated $10,000 of his money to set a goal of getting much needed care packages to all hospitals in the major cities in the state as his way of thanking the medical personnel who are working long hours to cure patients who fell ill from the Coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to the concerned persons in Louisiana and beyond plus donations from many local businesses in the state and region, the goal since over $100,000 dollars was raised to assist the medical heroes to assist them in curing the sick during this pandemic. It is nice to see the son of the late Al Copeland who was a successful restaurant owner who created the Popeye Fried Chicken franchise and many other businesses before his passing in 2008 do his part to give back to his community.
