Understanding does not come from words of understanding but from yourself.

Are words empty without understanding, or do they contain something extra of themselves?
For example:
"Is there a path that is in the world, but not of it?"
"Is this not possible, because all paths have a part of themselves in the World?"
"Silence gives us energy."
"How can emptiness produce energy?"
"A single thought has many voices."
"How many voices does a thought have?"
"Do not hide from your own mountain."
(Climb it instead!)
"Sitting doing nothing is something."
"Nothing is never nothing!"
"Sitting still is a type of a movement."
"There is no such thing as stillness in energy."
"Nothing is worth more than its worth."
"Everything has its exact worth, no more, and no less."
Is there any wisdom amongst words such as this, or is it more just mere posturing, without structure, or real wisdom in it?
Any sequence of words does not carry meaning within themselves, but the reader gets something from them, if the message is seen in a certain way of understanding.
Words plus understanding give wisdom; words on their own are empty of any energy, and understanding without words, is a sort of mystery to oneself, as you struggle to word the understanding.

The written word is just the written word, or is it?

Words hold the real meaning only when they are understood from deep within the heart

@innertalks but these days people have lost all the feelings these days. Words are only words

@amitkokiladitya Yes, that's sort of the point that l was trying to make there.
People seldom match their words with their heart's understanding.

Sometimes we have to read between the lines for the hidden meaning especially in totalitarian countries.
One can tend to be superficial rather than delve deep to understand the import of the writings.
It is said to convey message clearly and without confusion is not that easy.
Sometimes sarcasm is lost and people go by the word just like what President Trump had to clarify in terms of injecting disinfectant as treatment for the Covid virus. Maybe, it was more of damage control! siva
Doctors call the president's latest remarks about coronavirus treatment "dangerous" and "ridiculous".

@innertalks Yes, Trump is one of a kind. He keeps everyone guessing
He is like a bull in a china shop, does not care for niceties and does not mince words.
He believes in hiring and firing in quick succession like in his famous "you are fired" in the Apprentice show. Maybe, he likes that role and it has become part of him and tough to shake it off!
There seems to no dearth of people for top jobs though! siva

Yes, and often sin is behind both the tongue, and our thoughts, twisting them up for its own purposes; other times it's just an interesting conundrum.
