Catching up

I've been away from mylot for about 4 years, so what have I been up to? Well the biggest change has been that, while I officially still live in Northumberland, I now work away for most of the year as I do seasonal work in different areas of the UK, and when I'm not working I spend a lot of time travelling in Europe (well mostly spain). I'm currently locked down on a (closed) campsite near Stoke, which is in staffordshire. That's had good and bad points, the bad point being the day I arrived my seasonal contract was cancelled and the Uk went into lockdown, but on the good side it's a lovely place to be stuck and as there aren't many of us here there's plenty of space for us all to enjoy the outdoors and socially distance, without needing to leave the site apart from to go shopping. I've also discovered that I was wrong in my belief that the weather in the Uk is better the further south you get, last year it rained here everyday for about 4 months I'm hoping this year it'll be better weather or I'll get a contract and move. The attached dandelion photo (hopefully it's there) is also a lucky thing from lockdown as normally the grass on most campsites is too short for them to grow for that long

It does sound like a lovely place to be locked down.

I suspect your rainy season isn't the same as ours (all year )

Would you rather be back in Northumberland seeing as how you're locked down?

No, I don't think so, as I wouldn't be able to see my friends and family anyway.
