Out and About in the Rose Garden

Have been out enjoying the nice weather in the yard. The roses are starting to bloom in Dustin's garden. Always exciting to see these pink blooms.
I found more empty bird nests. Followed the male and female cardinal around for awhile in the yard. They finally caught on to what this crazy bird lady 
was doing. They are gone for now. But they are definitely up to something. A new nest perhaps.
Visited with another neighbor for a few minutes. She has planted a herb garden. She had surgery a few months ago. I made the cake for her family. She is doing much better.

Have a robin nest in one tree and laughed at a finch trying to pull string off a hay bale. So they are building too.

@CarolDM Its fun to watch them as the string is attached to the bale. A robin tried it earlier this year.

@wolfgirl569 I read where many put out your cat's hair, after brushing. And it does work. Birds will grab it for their nests.

Love the rose, everything is blooming nicely right now, took a walk earlier, to enjoy the weather, going to rain later. But nice and sunny right now.
