When i was a kid, i didn't like durian or duren, because of the smell. It is stinky i think. But when i grew up I turned to be a big fan of durinan. It is very delicious to eat.
Many people in south east Asia like eating durian in case durian grows well in those countries.
The term durian literally means thorny. The word “Duri” means thorn. It is considered as the king of tropical fruit.
The price is quiet expensive than other fruit. Last week i bought small one priced Rp 50000 or equals to $3,3. For a big one, the price up to $7-10. And for special type like musang king, the price up to $35 and the weight is online 4-5 kg.

It is king fruit.. because its high cost to buy. But almost tropical people love it. It is annoying when we buy durian, then the taste was plain. Prefer buy the opened one. So we can make sure it taste sweet and delicious. Even, many seller along the edge of road, allow the buyer taste it first.
