This story begins with Florida woman Ajon Crump having to deal with a desire to assist her cousin Danielle who is employed at a hospital to buy a pair of sneakers for her birthday.
Ajon was able to get a gift card so her cousin so she could buy her Nike sneakers so she can work in the hospital during her long shifts in comfort.
When Ajon realized that the other nurses did not have sneakers that Danielle was wearing, she followed her passion to start a campaign called #NikesForNurses.
Ajon started the campaign last month by asking for donation through GoFundMe.com where the money that she received through donations she was able to buy Nike sneakers for nurses around the nation.
The project has been so successful where Ajon would buy the sneakers and ship them out to the nurses which reached around $15,000 dollars to assist 200 nurses.
Ajon insists that she will continue to accept donations and ship out the sneakers to nurses that need the Nike sneakers until the demand for her services is no longer needed.

This is a very noble and good campaign.
Health workers need a lot of support for what they are doing.

Yes and so many doctors or nurses get this virus, though most recover.

Yes. And I saw an unfortunate case in India where a recovered nurse was boycotted by her neighbors and could not even get sufficient food supplies.
Someone interviewed her on a YouTube video.
Such incidents are so shameful!

That was so nice of her to want to make the feet of the nurses very comfortable. That is great that she is in their corner.
