In Indonesia every 21st april we celebrate Kartini day. She was a noblewoman during Dutch colonization era who fought illiteracy and suppression towards women. She opened school for women and kids around her 115 years ago for free. She is the most notable woman emansipator in Indonesia and the Dutch honoured her by using her name as a name of road in Netherland. We celebrate her birthday by wearing traditional clothes from around Indonesia and hold festivals. But this year the festival was off because of corona.
