Sudden rain at 2:30 pm

I am waiting for 3 pm to have a snack and suddenly the sky turned dark and comes the light rain just like watering the plants. But the problem is the thunder that roars from time to time. Our dogs are terrorized by the thunder. I wonder why the sudden change of weather.

I think it's because the weather is changing. Perhaps it's transitioning from summer to rainy season? My dog is also scared of thunders.

We had a storm last night, even though it was cloudy all day and we were expecting, but somehow too fast, I barely managed to protect the plants and pick up the laundry

Yesterday we were in luck because I had expected the rain to fall so we were able to get the laundry from the clothesline. They were safe just some seconds before the rain fell.
