'Can you feel the changes in your life now?' In my city, it is officially sealed the ordinance to wear face masks in the public at all times. If not wearing them, the offenders will have to pay and allowed only in three offenses. If it is exceeded, he or she will be staying behind bars in days.
Life is changing..., right?

Last year, December 2019, I lost my husband. His health had deteriorated and he was in a very weakened state. This year 2020, no sooner than the year had begun, the coronavirus was declared a pandemic. Part of me grieves that my husband is no longer here. The other part of me is relieved that my husband is no longer here, so that I don't have the anxiety of him possibly catching the virus. I'd call that a change. Having to struggle with these feelings every day. I just wanted to grieve. I didn't want to have to struggle between grief from loss and a sense of relief from the loss at the same time. I don't know if I should be thankful or sorrowful. I feel guilty for being thankful because had he caught the virus he really would have suffered. But I didn't want him leave me so soon.
Sorry. Had to get that off my chest. Your question triggered an outpouring.

I am sorry about your husband, my friend. He is your angel now. My lovely mother thought the same way, too. My old man passed away six years ago. We also think the bright side that it is not good for him if being ill during the pandemic.
I can feel where it is coming from. I had some moments when seeing my lovely mother about my father passing away. I sometimes wanted to blurt it out my sentiments about this matter. However, some mylotters don't care.

Lately our city council proposed an ordinance to penalize community quarantine violators. And it's already in 2nd reading.
