I Didn't Make That Connection

I no longer have to pay for car insurance because I drive my son's car and he handles that expense. When I did have my own car and paid for the insurance, I worked outside the home and had the brave the traffic 5 days a week. So I distinctly remember that my insurance premium was based on how far I drove back and forth to work each day. Since I'm not concerned about those kinds of expenses this thought had not occurred to me. If I didn't think of it perhaps others have not thought of it. I saw an article today that asks these questions: ~ Do you work from home? ~ Then why are you overpaying on your car insurance? Have you ever calculated your car insurance based on the fact that you work from home? If so, did it result in a significant savings? OR ... Did you not even think about it? Just curious. For the record: I absolutely hate pink cars. But I love this picture!

I don't know a lot about insurance. I've been told many things how some cars are consider to be safe by insurance companies and therefore it factors in on their rates. I've been even told because red cars have been statistically driven by people who have had more accidents they are have slightly higher rates than say a plain white car? Is it true? I don't know. Where is pink in all that? Maybe it depends on the purse and matching shoe shade.

I also heard that statistic about red cars. Red is my favorite color. But for that very reason, I never bought a red car. As for the pink cars, if you are a Mary Kay sales rep and you reach a certain point in sales they give you a pink cadillac. My friend sells Mary Kay products. I don't think she has managed to get her pink cadillac. But when I saw the picture I thought of her.

I live with my brother and when I drove, I would use his car. Now I don't drive at all because of all the medication I am on.

That looks like a Mary Kay car. We never worked from home and are retired now. That should save you a lot of money.

It's not my car. I just like the picture. But it looked like a Mary Kay car. That's what I thought when I saw it.

Good points. I bet very few have thought about their car insurance while they've been working at home.

I love that car in the picture.' We have never had any tickets so our car insurance is not that much.
