In many ways i'm rather enjoying this current quarantine lifestyle. I like that people are advised to social space, 6 feet is okay, i'd prefer 6 miles. Few people in the stores. But there are certain times of the day when there's long lines outside and many people in the store. I've seen a couple of instances where a person will be a total a-hole to people. The direction arrows in Walmart are mostly ignored, good intentions but unnecessary if everyone just social spaces accordingly. With many things opening up around here in my area of southern California, a rise in positive covid-19 cases has also come with it. Which I expected, as many are testing their employees as a precautionary measure. Most are asymptomatic or don't require hospitalization. From what I hear from other people (rumors), most positive test results seem to be coming from people who go across the border to Mexicali, Mexico for non-essential reasons. One morning at Walmart a lady got mad at me for having 2 bottles of clorox cleaning disinfectant spray and 2 containers of wipes, the limit is 1 per family. I told her I was shopping for 2 families, my mom and grandmother(who recently turned 95). After that she calmed down. Rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer are shoot and miss still. They are becoming more frequent lately in the 99c stores. At first they had a limit of 2 per item, now its only 1 hand sanitizer per family, no limit on the rubbing alcohol. Eggs and toilet paper are also starting to make a more consistent comeback on the shelves. Well, that's what is happening around here. Now I supposedly also have excessive heat warnings to deal with for the weekend. Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

I’m in Connecticut. It was the last state to open, and very slowly. I’m staying home and in my own yard and neighborhood. I don’t trust being out and about with covidiots.

I have been at home for over 2 months. At the beginning it was a self imposed lockdown. There were too many stupid people around, especially youngsters. Now the authorities ruled lockdown, who knows until when. But until stupid people are put in jail, I´ll stay here. I can buy the esencial items online .

@Plethos Yes, we're starting to get rain from time to time. June, July, August are officially winter but we have rainy days either side of those months.

Hi Plethos, just stopping by to say hi and see how you're doing. It's been a while since you've written. Seems the world keeps getting crazier.

good that life is getting back to normal and stores are opening up. people can be nasty many a times but it's best to control our reaction so things don't get out of hand

So many people are too stupid to know that all those precautions are for the good of people.

not stupid, i believe its more of ignorance and lack of common sense and courtesy to those around.
