My, oh my, what a wonderful day!
Plenty of sunshine heading my way

Do you recognize this song from Walt Disney’s “Song of the South?”
It expresses my emotions when I wake up, wake up to sunshine, and wake up knowing something good is going to happen.
Our son is coming over after his morning chores to go for a nice, long walk with us. Of course, he will wear a mask to prevent us from getting the virus in case he’s a carrier. We will keep our social distance. But most of all, we will get to see each other and walk and talk.
I’m itching to know how his date at his girlfriend’s house went last night and more about his business. We do talk every day, but with him, there’s always something to laugh about.

@DianneN He learned good habits from his mama.
Mine too, but it will be replaced soon. Church starts soon. Next week we will meet again as a congregation. They're doing two services so they can have the necessary social distancing.

I know our kids love us and want to see us, but the time isn’t right for our New York family.

Oh, I thought that you have penned a song or rhyme by yourself!
I hope that you enjoy your time with your son. It is good to meet up others as we sometimes get dull and feel lonely by ourselves.

That is good. I had a nice long phone call with son today. Friend talks to him almost everyday. I told him to start signing off with see you soon..so he gets the idea he should be looking for flights...lol.
