Today's Workout & 2020 Health Journey Update | May 25th

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I hope well. I thought I would share one of the workouts that I did today, and talk about my health journey. As you know, I have not stuck to the "low carb" portion of my diet/journey the past week (or most of it). I am going to be back on tomorrow though. I know I am up in weight - I will share how much tomorrow (and then won't weigh in again till Friday like normal). Today I did two workouts. The first one was a Tae Bo workout - a live one that Billy did for Memorial Day. I will share the link for that at the end. Then for the rest of the work out I did some dancing. There are a bunch of songs that I found videos of people showing dance moves/routines for and I follow those. Anyways, in total I did 2 hours and 10 minutes. I burned 1,140 calories! and my steps for the day are 15,526. My other numbers are not so impressive. Calories - 1,884 Protein - 54 Fat - 103 Carbs - 190 (yikes - I don't want to go over 50 total carbs a day) Sugars - 39 (I don't want to go over 10) Tomorrow I will be working out again, AND back to my low carb meal plan. Maybe I will get in a baking mood and make something out of my new Keto baking cook book. However, I think I know what my meals for the day will be already. Here is the Tae Bo workout for those interested -
Let's work hard and build up a sweat in honor of all the troops out there who have done and continue to do so much to protect this country. Blessings to all ...

I think everyone has gained weight during this quarantine. Nothing to do but bake and eat. I haven't been doing the baking though because that's more sweets in the house that I don't need. I did quite the workout on the treadmill yesterday (I walk for an hour, did 70 minutes yesterday), ending the day with over 20,000 steps. I think that's the first time ever. In the past, most days I'm lucky to get 3,000 steps in. I've also taking to doing daily stretching exercises since I've had a couple of back issues while unable to see my massage therapist. I think it's working. I'm trying with the food but not very disciplined. I like my food. Good luck! We can do this!

@MommyOfEli2013 I have fibromyalgia so I do suffer the effects of such exercise. I also had a bout of the stomach flu a couple of weeks ago but didn't appear to lose an ounce. I'm so frustrated.

@patgalca Ouch, I am sorry to hear that! And sorry that you didn't lose while having the flu....losing weight can be very frustrating.

I had actually lost like 10 during quarantine! I am just back up in water weight over the past 4 days of not doing what I should haha! Oh wow, that is great work out and great number of steps! Those stretching exercises sound like a good idea too. I understand, food is a hard thing to be more strict with! Especially when it is the foods we enjoy that we need to give up! Thanks for the luck, and yes we can!

I read about that....and sorry to hear. I don't like to workout during those days, but I still do it....just lighter workouts.

Those really are high calories and numbers. I hope you're back on track today. I did well.

I am more concerned with the carbs than the calories, but yes it was all high. Today I was back on track, but my calories were not too low. Glad to hear that you did well.

I wasn't even off track because of the holidays really - but I knew that there would be days that I wouldn't' be eating at home and then there was a birthday to celebrate. But I was back on track today
