My red bud tree and I messed up big time

My red bud tree is doing much better this year again. For the past few years half was dead with no new spring time or any other time growth. I've considered having to cut either the whole thing down or the offending branches. I think it was hurt from exceptionally cold weather we had a free years ago when it was twenty to thirty minus zero degrees. I've never fertilized it so it doesn't keep the blood very long but I hope to change that one day or year soon. As far as my messed up I don't make a practice of saving into the cloud important images or documents from my phone mostly and tell days ago my phone died completely. So completely that Google can't copy my files from one phone to the other. There may be a you tube video on this but they all may be where the phone has to open more than mine is. Google is also trying to verify its me but sending a text to my old phone. I may be able to use my tablet instead but I'd have to charge it after finding it first. My new phone is now a Nokia. I also messed up while hooking up our dehumidifier in the basement last week to dry up the water. There's a garden hose attached that I'm supposed to put one end into the drain in the floor. When I went down last night there was as much water as it started with which was odd. After looking it over I realized the house was open to the room so any water it got released in the same puddle. It's sunny so we're working until it gets to hot to work. I will visit later today unless I have time after b'fast and loading.

This is a beautiful tree. I hope you fixed the dehumidifier today, at least you can get rid of that water.

@MarshaMusselman Our basement is very dry, but I keep a dehumidifier in the room where we store our dry food (flour, pasta, rice, coffee, sugar).

Once I rest some I'll take a look and see if the basement is now better.

@LadyDuck my dehumidifier blew the breaker or did I say that already? We fixed the breaker but then I tried doing a load of laundry and the dehumidifier and now the socket won't work although the breaker seems fine and other lights work still on the same line. I've been sopping up some of the water with large towels we use for our business

I think I need a new hose as this one is crimped in several places. I might have one in the garage I can cut down to use. Now at least if the unit gets too full it shuts off and the water goes down the drain it stays in the receptacle until emptied.

@DianneN I will prob needed to get someone to check on our tiles they leak periodically. Is prefer paying things off first but we also don't needed the tiles imploding into the room if that can happen.

The tree is beautiful. We have a couple of those trees in my apartment complex, but they aren't that big. I love the look of them.

It's pretty even when the blooms don't last long.
