Rains Bring the Floods

We had waited so long to get rain. Finally today the flood gates opened and it really rained along with thunder and lightning. As a result, the ground was flooding because it had been dry so long that there was no place for the rain waters to go. They could not soak into the ground fast enough. After that, the late afternoon sun came out and it looked like there had never been any rain at all.

The same thing has been happening here. We have had so much rain over the last two weeks that the ground is nothing but mud and huge puddles.

When rain continuous falls for several hours those lowlands are flooding in our place. It's good if no none is affected especially crops and plants.
