Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I hope well. I had a mostly successful day with food/health. I was so glad when I got on the scale and saw that I dropped 4 pounds of water weight. I went from 184.8 to 180.8. Now to lose the rest of the water weight! Blood sugars yesterday - Fasting - 63 Meal 1 - 172 Meal 2 - 113 Meal 3 - 105 I could tell that my sugar was low this morning....so I did have some carbs with my first meal. I didn't think it was enough to raise it to 172, but that is what happened. I got it back down with eating low carb the rest of the day and working out. So - what did I eat? Meal 1 - Cheeseburger, with the bun. I also had mayo, ketchup and mustard on it. Meal 2 - 2 scrambled eggs and 1 cheddar smoked sausage I followed that with half a slice of the Keto Boston Cream cake. Meal 3 - 1 oz of pork, 2 string cheese sticks. After the snack "meal" I had a whole piece of the cake. It's so good :) Now, for macros - Calories - 1,680 Protein - 79 Fat - 126 Net Carbs - 43 With the carbs being higher it is not really a Keto day, but still low carb. Would have been much better had I not had the hamburger bun. Workout - 30 minutes of a dance routine work out 1 hour of other dancing workouts Burned - 709 calories 12,190 steps for the day I fell during the 30 minute workout....was scared I might have hurt my ankle, but thankfully it is okay. I had no problem doing the hour workout later in the day. So, what do you think of my day of eating? Also, how did you do? Photo via Pixabay

It looks like meal one compensated for the low fasting sugar. I wouldn't be overly worried about the high sugar at that point. Overall, I think you did well. I did very well yesterday.

I was just going to skip the meds and take them at the next meal to make up for the low, but I went with the bun. The numbers aren't the worst. Glad that you did well too

I knew you would drop that weight fast. Just keep going and your numbers will stabilize again.

health is wealth. if the health is worse, there is no meaning of how much property you have. you are doing great job. health is first. keep it up and stay healthy.
