Mellow Music Sunday

Since we cannot go to church to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we contented ourselves with watching the Holy Mass on TV.
This high noon too, while we were eating, the TV is switched on a local radio station and as usual, Sundays is for mellow music listening. Many Filipino and foreign singers' songs were played, and these are considered vintage already, dating back during my elementary and high school years.
The songs are permanently embedded in my grey matter; I can still recall the whole songs' lyrics. In fact, I even sang a song of Tom Jones in a radio children's show, My Delilah.
The songs of Matt Monro, Tom Jones, Bee Gees (singing Don't Forget to Remember Me now), Everly Brothers, the Cascades, even Elvis Presley. Local artists like Basil Valdez, Rico J. Puno, Ric Manrique Jr., and others, are alternately played, and I am surprised with myself because I still remember the songs by heart.
Are you fond of listening to mellow music every Sunday?
Now, NetFlixing with my brother.

@ridingbet We also have many CDs and a CD player, my husband always asked that the TV stays off while we are eating, that is the time to enjoy food and to talk. My father always did the same.
