Daniel is one grateful man when his daughter Jaime Bauder was at the right place at his apartment home in Lansford Pennsylvania on Friday night when his roommate who has to use a wheelchair to get around. Daniel went outside of the apartment to smoke a cigarette when his unit caught fire. Jamie was inside the burning unit when she took action to get the woman who uses a wheelchair to get around by carrying her from the second floor to the first floor of the apartment and out of the apartment in time since the smoke inside of the unit was ready to overcome them fast. After the American Fire Company of Lansford were contacted about the fire, the firefighters were able to put out the fire. The damage of the apartment unit was severe enough that Daniel, his roommate and his daughter and his grandson are living with family at this time. Daniel is thankful that Jamie was home at the time of the fire since she was planning to leave with her son a few minutes later before the fire started. The other residents of the apartment are able to return to their units since the damage to their units was minimal.
