Mon-Day!

Today was another Monday and another day. They are all flowing together and passing quickly. Lockdown is getting boring. Even though not mandatory anymore, we are advised to stay at home if you can. Since I don't have any urgent reasons to be out, I am at home. I have a better reason to stay home and that is staying well. The highlight of the day was going to the post office to mail Ebay packages. I had several to mail off. That didn't take long and I headed back home. My hubby had errands to run this afternoon. He had to go to Tractor Supply and I added the Co-Op to his list to get laying pellets for the chickens. He also had to go pick up the grocery order. I hope to get some things done outside tomorrow. Today was just the normal so I have to hit the floor running tomorrow to accomplish something. Hope you all had a nice and pleasant day. The photo above is of my dog, Duke. He is lounging in the yard and enjoying the nice weather. © 2020 Karen Gros, All rights reserved.

He is there now. I love Ebay. The only fee I pay is the final value fee for sales. I am getting over 200 free listings a month right now. That only lasts for three months but other months it is 100, 200 or 50. This works since you can relist free for up to 8 times.

@DocAndersen I had one that said her post office refused to pay on insured item. She asked me for refund and I said no, that is what the insurance is for. It arrived damaged but I had it well padded and packed. She opened a case but after I told her for 3 days how to go to post office and get refund or do it online and told her no refund, she played dumb and said she did not realize she asked for a refund. DUH! I was livid with her. But she ended up canceling the case the day before Ebay ruled on it. Thankfully there are not many like her--whether she made the mistake or not.

@kareng have you had to deal with a buyer that was clearly cheating the system? I had one refuse to return the item, and then forced a case, eBay refunded the item without asking me at all. I was so angry I almost closed my account that day. I was out item, and money. But Paypal rescued me and went after the buyer!

I agree that lockdown is getting boring. The government should think of another way to control the spread of the virus. The lockdown is not effective at all.

@kareng when the total cases here was 65 we were put on a lockdown. After 2 months of lockdown we have 15,000 cases. So how do you make of it?

@Alexandoy A lot of people were exposed before lockdown. You don't get it the day after you were exposed.

@kareng the 2 months of lockdown has given us 15,000 cases and now we have 20,000 plus cases. It doesn't make sense.

@wolfgirl569 Yep, he is my timid watchdog. It is a good thing some people are afraid of him just because of his size and breed. Then my postman always brings him a treat when he has packages.

If someone asked me if there was any place I would be afraid to go right now because of the coronavirus, two places come to mind that I would avoid like the plague. One is the emergency room waiting room, and the other is the post office. Every time I stop by the post office to check my PO box, there is a line of about 20 people all crammed close together inside the post office. There's a big sign on the door that says only six people at a time allowed in, and not one person is obeying it. And very few of those people have masks on. If you ask me, that place is a corona ticking timebomb!

@moffittjc They moved a lab to every floor at my doctor's office and one tech in one room and one patient. That was a bit more cautious but I've always hated blood draws. I have one lady that usually does mine at the lab downstairs and I was very hesitant to let someone else poke me. I have rolling veins and it goes okay if they use a pediatric needle and listen to me that my veins roll. I had one that kept poking hard and I told her to go away and that I never wanted to see her face again. Two strikes and you are out.

@kareng Apparently, I've got really good veins and they love drawing blood from me, because even the bad ones and dumb ones can clearly see where my vein is when they poke me. I don't think I've ever had a needle miss before....

@kareng I am supposed to go get blood drawn next week for my upcoming doctor's appointment. I am going to call my doctor on Monday and tell him I am very uncomfortable going to get blood drawn right now. Even under normal circumstances I don't like getting my blood drawn, because everybody that is there at the place is always so sick. It always reminds me of the ER.

Duke is now there. I think I was looking for a certain photo but couldn't find it and forgot to go back and add it. I couldn't find the one in mind just then either. Oh well.

Yes the lockdown is getting boring. Without the vaccine it will keep on extending with little relaxation.
