Why does bacon taste so good?

Who doesn't love to eat bacon? Well, I know, there's a lot of people who do not and cannot due to various reasons, religion is one of them of course. However, IMHO, these people are missing out on one of the best tasting food items ever to be stuffed into anyone's mouth.
Why does it taste so good and how many ways can you eat it? With Eggs, with Salads, with Burgers, by itself, with sausages, BLT, and etc...
Please give me some of your best recipes for cooking with bacon!
One of the best BLT to make is with green tomatoes and mayo. Double with bacon and add jalapenos.... oooooo so good! Oh yeah, make sure to toast the bread a little bit to the dark side.

I love bacon as well!!
I eat it either plain OR I make bacon wrapped chicken with it.
The most amazing meal on the planet I think!
So...you put chicken on the bacon after laying bacon out in an X shape, put cream cheese and shredded cheese on top of the chicken, then wrap the bacon around the chicken. Then cook!

Bacon as you point out is not only good but versatile too. It goes with many food items. I've even sprinkled bacon bits into my salads. BLT's are one of my favorites. Not the most nutritious food, but when I have it with eggs I feel better about it, lol.
