Whistle for the Wind

Since it is so hot and humid again, I would lift my shirt up above my navel only. My brother and my son can bare their chests though, which they usually do. My brother would also sit in our veranda and call the wind by whistling. His whistle is not the 'calling' type though. It does not have the tempo. It is just a monotonous straight whistle that is why the wind comes for a few seconds only. I would whistle to call the cool wind. I put a tune to the whistle, like mimicking the breeze. My late mother told me that the whistle should be soft at first then it should increase in volume. I do that. Now, the grey clouds are hovering in the sky. I hope it will rain. And yes! The cool wind is blowing and I like that! Do you know how to whistle to call the wind?

That sounds interesting. I have never done that. Good that wind responds to your call.

We are having some rainy days, it is not hot, it is a "sleepy" kind of weather. I do not whistle, in our culture is not polite for a woman to whistle.

sometimes, even though it is hot and humid, we tend to doze off, especially when i sit under our mango tree.
