This morning, I finally had a beautiful yellow banana to enjoy. It took days before it was just the right yellow.
It was delicious, worth the waiting period.
How do you like your bananas?
I know that when mine get too ripe, I mashed them and freeze them for making a future banana bread or banana muffins.
Do you use bananas in your baking?

I use banana in my no bake fudge.
I've also used it in ice cream because it was recommended to me here.
I like mine with a few brown spots.

@marlina Well, the bananas keep it softer. I tend to have a little more chocolate than banana when I make it. It's something I haven't made in awhile, but it is a sort of "sweet cheat" because I don't add any extra sugar to it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum , Does it keep hard? or is it too soft?

I like them when they are just the right amount of ripeness. I don't use bananas in baking too often, but I have.

When I used to be able to bake I would make banana bread. It's soooo good. I like my bananas once the green is all gone and they are still firm.

@marlina That's OK. I have resigned myself to the fact that I can't cook or bake anymore. Sometimes I can get the hubs to do it.

No. I just mixed it with ice cream, a recipe from a long time friend. But I am planning to learn baking soon.
