I bought two last night. One is a team vs purple. It went in teal and turned purple as it dried and had changed color several times today already. I'm guessing it's more temp related than mood. The other one is pink and purple. In the bottles the purple is too different shades but in my fingers at present it looks the same. I will say that my punter dinner on my left hand whish is real and the punter and thumb on my right hand is purple from one bottle all the rest is from the pink/purple bottle. All the rest also is over the color street glitter stick-ons so that might change the color some. I find it interesting that some fingers are teal and purple at the same time from the same bottle. I have another coat to add to most and is like to cover it with a clear coat but I'm not sure if that will negates the effects yet. These are made by studio M inexpensive polish compared to many. And now I should head outside too try to mow the back yard before it gets talk again.

It sounds like the polish is more for fun than accuracy. I do remember mood rings and had one myself. It's been so long ago that I can't remember if it got my moods right

@MarshaMusselman I think pretty colors would be a nice change.

@simone10 Dianne suggested using a base cost and top coat but I thought they might inhibit the color changes but I was wrong. The hand with both base and top coat is still intact the other had the base but I never got the top coat on and it's wearing away at the tips but still better than most polishes do for me.

I discovered and was told by others here that mood things don't a actually monitor your mood but rather the temp. If you're in the sun it's one color if you're cold it's the other colors and sometimes it doesn't know and can be both for a time. And yes they are fun. I may see if there are any others other than grey and black. I'd rather have pretty colors.

Looks and sounds like a fun nail polish. I only wear OPI, but am letting my nails air out during this pandemic. It's been years, and now they look pink and healthy.

My one thumb nail keeps splitting so I'm hoping the polish will keep it from getting worse. My only other choice is wearing a bandaid. I am taking collagen to see if that will help. And others suggested b vitamins or prenatal.

@MarshaMusselman I hope you wear a protective base coat as well.

@DianneN I tried the base cost first and then the polish to see whether the colors still change and they have but not as much as before. Next time I'll try the top coat. After that maybe I'll just do one color at a time it one with a different in over it to nails. I bought a third combination and currently have every third nail the same.

My dad's wife got a manicure with mood like polish a few months ago. It also glows in the dark.

I doubt mine will glow but I'll have to check tonight. Does hers change colors after it's on her nails? My tight hand that was purple is now teal after being in the sun mowing the lawn for a bit

It is funny, but you are correct, it does not change according to the "mood" but it is thermal related, it changes color according to the temperature, but also light.

I have one nail polish that changes with temperature like these. it goes from light gray to black. I don't wear it often because it takes forever to dry :/

Mine was dry before I finished one hand. That was faster than any wick dry polish I've ever used.
