I have been learning to cook with almost nothing. When I went to the super or to the farmers market, I bought exactly what I wanted. Now I buy what the people online want to sell. They don´t have ground meat so I will have to grind my own. But before that, I will make a chicken pie because I cut part of some giant thighs and I have now ground chicken. I also caramelized diced onions and boiled an egg. I´ll see if I have olives (I like that inside) and raisins. Then I´ll cover it with homemade mashed potatoes and put them in the oven. I think I have enough for 2 servings.

We have a meat grinder. In fact we have two - a really old heavy one that we probably can't use as it has to be screwed down to the top of a counter and a flash electric one. Neither gets used much at all.

I have a light grinder that I mostly use for nuts and to make bread crumbs. But I can grind meat if I do it in small batches. I had an old heavy one but I gave it away decades ago. This one is perfect for my needs.
