Not liking what's going on on HubPages

I just logged into my HubPages acccount and noticed that I have 185 unfeatured hubs (aka articles). The number just keeps going up. Out of 226 hubs to have that many unfeatured is bad. I do not understand the reason for unfeaturing hubs due to low search traffic. And how are they supposed to get search traffic if they are unfeatured and do not show up in search results? This makes no sense to me. Maybe that is the reason why my HubPages ad program earnings are lower than they used to be. I do not like this one bit. I can try to edit each hub and get it featured again. I've actually edited one today. But it is tedious to do that when there are that many of them to deal with. Besides, there is no guarantee the hubs will remain featured for long. I wonder if sharing the hubs and having people click on them can get them featured again without actually editing anything...

Thelma seems to have the best solution for you. I haven't been on HP for years.

To edit 185 hubs is tedious. I can probably just change a few words and it should do the trick but not really a good idea. If I edit it has to be a good edit.

@tallawah The few I've edited are still featured thankfully.

That is too many unfeatured hubs. You have to update and edit them so that they will be featured. Gladfully all my articles are featured. I keep updating some of them if I think they need an update. Am I following you on HP? I can“t remember.

I am not sure. Maybe you are. There was a time when I had unfeatured hubs and I did nothing to them and they became featured again on their own. Don't think that will be the case this time.

It's crazy to have to update 185 hubs. I have a feeling the only hubs that will remain featured are those from niche sites. I have a hub that has over 15,000 views that has been unfeatured.

@lovebuglena I have only a few that are on the niche sites of HP but the other hubs of mine are still featured.
