Dogs or Cats

I like animals in general, but when it comes to being specific with one, dogs for me are the best company, they are loyal, loving, unconditional and tender. I also like cats but they are more pretentious, bitter and detached but very tender too (Depending), what about you? Which do you prefer?

I'm a cat person. I've had cats since I was a kid. Though its more like I'm their slave and they are my master.

I like both but for different reasons. I have had both but I find cats easier to care for. You don't have to take them for walks or give them baths.

That's an interesting point, cats are definitely independent, they don't care much, dogs are like children.
