This story that comes from Ellisville Missouri is bittersweet since a doe died when an auto struck her on a road. At the time of the death of the doe, she had given birth to two fawns who survived the tragic accident. Ellisville Police Officer Corporal George Corless who was at the scene of the accident went to pick up the two recently born fawns by placing them in his Tyvex suit that he uses as his protection against the Cornonavirus to carry them into his patrol car. Corporal Corlless then drove the two fawns to the Ellisville Veterinarian Hospital where the two fawns will be taken care of at a rehabilitation center where they will spend their time with other fawns for the time being until they are most likely be sent to live out the rest of their lives in the forest.

That is true. They lost their mom but they will be with many friends at the wildlife center.

@Deepizzaguy That is so sad that auto hit the doe. So so sad her little ones were left without their mother. That was so nice that they were rescued. I am glad that they will be rehabilitated. I am so glad they will be with other fawns.

I agree with you that the fawns will never know their mom.

@Hannihar The fawns will find a nice place in a rehab center for a while and then likely live out their lives in a forest.
