This is the book in the Inn BoonsBoro series that I have been reading. I actually wanted to give the title something more catchy because I LOVED this book.

Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He's surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro.
As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn't mean she can't appreciate the joys of small-town living. She's where she wants to be - except for in her love life. Her only interaction with the opposite sex has been sparring with the infuriating Ryder, who always seems to get under her skin. Still, no one can deny the electricity that crackles between them...a spark that ignited with a New year's Eve kiss.
While the inn is running smoothly, thanks to Hope's experience and unerring instincts, her big city past is about to make an unwelcome - and embarrassing - appearance. Seeing Hope vulnerable stirs up Ryder's emotions and makes him realize that while Hope may not be perfect, she just might be perfect for him...

I loved this book. I loved the whole series but the last book in the series gave me a little bit of everything - romance, family, mystery, history and humour. The other books did too but this final book in the series took me over the top.
Here was a story that I wish I was a part of. I wanted to be a part of this family. The matriarch, Justine, is a wonderful woman who is creative, savvy, loving, supportive, stern yet humourous.
Ryder, her eldest son is moody. not very romantic, but spits out some pretty funny lines, as do his brothers Owen and Beckett.
I was up late finishing this book last night. The tension had me feeling like I was holding my breath. The mysterious Lizzy gave me goosebumps. And the humour cracked me up. In some instances I read those lines over again out loud.
I highly recommend this story but think you should really read books 1 and 2 first if you can. It can be a standalone but if you don't want spoilers and plan on reading the first two, then read them in order.
I don't do this very often - I gave this book 5 stars.

I love her books. That series is actually how I found out about her own Boonsboro hotel
