Today was one of those days when you want to do your usual but somehow you cannot get into the mood. It was a rare day because the sun was shining for a change and the rain had stopped however we are supposed to get rain over the weekend. Feeling like I do at the present time I might just go walking on the beach even if it rains. I also had all kinds of thoughts running through my head and finally, I remembered a very sentimental song originally done by The Partridge Family and David Cassidy “It’s A Long Way to Heaven.” The song actually brought some smiles when I thought about the words where it says that someone is tired of being alone and hopes that the love he finds is the one that will stay with him till the very end. It reminded me that I had found the one love that I was willing to spend time with till the very end and that now I did not mind going on alone because eventually at the end of my days I will see my love again. That brought about a kind of mood that made me want to just walk out my door and wander about seeing what was going on in the world I was living in. So I guess tomorrow I will take some time off from work and take a walk to the river and see what the ducks are up to before I settle down to writing again.
