Hello Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters I woke up with a good weather today. Sunny and cool air. I`m thinking of having a walk later to enjoy the wonderful weather. Anyways, today is Friday and my free day of cooking. Yes you read it right. No cooking today My husband want me to relax on Fridays and not thinking of what food to prepare. We will just order outside some Döner kebab in a plate. I don`t know if you have something like that in your place. It`s like burrito but no rice only salad with fries and thinly sliced beef or chicken meat It taste so great. How about you my dear mylotters? Do you have a day free for cooking? Which day? I live with two other relatives, and we can not agree on what to eat on any given day. We used to argue for several hours about what we would eat. Eventually we decided to split the days up. I have two days where I decide, and on those two days I cook. I have told the other two that if they want something cooked on their days that I would be happy to do that. They do not ask me to cook on their days unless the weather is far too inclement for us to go out. Otherwise we order food out, and I do not like this.

@m_audrey6788 Yes, our bodies are fueled by what we put in them, and overly processed foods are not good for us. I try to eat veggies throughout the day now, as much as I can. Enjoy your day.

Good morning. My wife does all our cooking. I don't normally medal with cooking except when feel like doing something. Chicken Kebabs are my favourites.

There is no fixed non-cooking day here. Just a spur of the moment decision like today, my wife wanted lechon, the roast pig, so we bought a kilo and today became non-cooking day.

I have a free day in cooking when I don't like to cook and if we have leftover food. It doesn't matter what day. I am not fond of ordering food somewhere else. Sometimes my husband cooks for us.

I generally get a free Saturday or Sunday from cooking. Generally my husband cooks on those days. We do not eat outside much and in this pandemic it has come to zero. As such also when I am not well or have other work or no mood to cook, my husband and children take care of the cooking.

I don't have a specific day when I don't cook. And I don’t cook every day, sometimes we go out for lunch or dinner. Interesting, but I always order (among other things) veal soup and grilled mushrooms

@m_audrey6788 There are women who cook every day, believe me, my mother-in-law cooked every day, literally 2-3 types of food, every time we go to her I feel like in a restaurant, I choose what to eat. And I always wondered how ??? How she has time because she was also employed in one company

For me, it is the other way around. I cook whenever I feel like cooking. Because I cook in big batches, I just reheat my food.

Hi! It's sunny and beautiful here, too. It's are Friday date night here, and we used to go out to fancy restaurants every Friday, but not since the virus. I don't trust anyone touching our food now. Now we cook, but make it something extra special. My hubby cooks a few times a week for me.
