It is an OFF day

To begin with, I over slept. Then I found that I had, or rather hubby had, a two week old message about VA medical care. He needed an appointment. Not for the main problem he has, but to get his non VA appointments covered by the VA. We will do that Thursday afternoon. Meanwhile. I had told him I would try to get him a urologist appointment. So I fought with the website and sent a message to the urology office. I had forgotten to get my Son in law a Father's Day Card. I found the perfect one at Dollar General. I addressed the envelope and stamped it, put the card in, sealed it. Then I realized I had not written a personal message or signed it. Wrote a bit on the back of the envelope and texted daughter so she could laugh at me. Hubby had ridden along to Dollar General with me. I wanted an ice cream sandwich, but would not buy one for me unless he came as well. We had Toll House Cookie ice cream sandwiches. There were a few things I needed. Like facial tissues (kleenex) because I was completely out. I have a million things I could be doing that I have not. I will get up early tomorrow and take care of at least some of them. Instead of putting up a post earlier, I have just enjoyed reading other posts from people I do not often visit with. I need to go make us a meal.
