I watch alone

My 2 older siblings are watching Netflix movies while I am seated on a chair in the dining table and making this discussion. They prefer to watch American movies or other series that are subtitled in English. To the likes of Mexican and Spanish series, they enjoy watching even though the lips of the actors are not always in synchrony with their dialogues. More often than not, it is the mouths of the actors that we gaze upon. But when I am alone, I go for Korean series. So far, I have watched one-season series that are not love stories but action series; more specifically, if the series are about the medical/ hospital setting. The Hospital Playlist, Yong Pal, Good Doctor, and 2 more are in tow for me to finish. Yesterday, while watching Yong Pal, I spoke loud because of that scene which caused me to be anxious about. My sister suddenly asked me about that scene. I casually said, "you cannot understand it, Manang, because of the complexity of the story line. it will be hard for me to narrate to you the details of the story." That being said, I guess they leave me alone after dinner to watch the Korean series, until 10:30 to 11PM. (Not a fan of these handsome actors who are just trying to make their lady partners swoon over them).

there are 2 British action series that we started watching. although the series are still subtitled in English, i cannot take my eyes off this dialogues. but these series, we did not continue watching it. there were so many intimate scenes of the main actor and the female antagonist, that we felt it is not even needed in those scenes.

yes, these Korean series have different story lines; not always love stories, and these doctor-drama series are very well, researched, because they know many things about certain disease conditions and even operating room techniques.
