yes planting trees is a good initiative but after the new plants are planted nobody bothers to followup and check if they are growing or not. Almost 80% of the newly planted saplings die due to neglect.

Not possible to live with out tree,very hard if we don't have trees I our earth. If trees disappeared then human life also get end.

I am not a scientist nor a biologist but if the trees give us oxygen that we inhale then more likely there would be nothing to inhale when the trees are gone.

@Alexandoy micro algae are used to convert carbon dioxide into Oxygen . Already put in many cities around the world to reduce polution. But it is not the solution to replace trees.

That is a big question as its well needed for life.I don't think technology replace anything with tree.

Scientist have developed a artificial tree which purifies the air . Designed by a Mexican start-up company called Bio Urban, the towering metal structure uses microalgae to clean carbon dioxide and other contaminants from the air, returning pure oxygen to the environment.

@jayanth_77 It reminds of this movie called Lorax. On one side trees are being destroyed and on another side they are slowly being made into commercial products!

There needs to be laws that so many trees have to remain up when building! I believe in the fight to save trees! I hate to see them torn down so massively and recklessly. Trees and greenery are pleasant to see and healthful for breathing and good air! Very important things. They need to continue the fight to keep trees up especially in cities!!

yes there has to be a law for the upkeep of trees in every house, in every locality and in every city. Trees are not just for fresh air, but also for food and for birds to survive.

But still trees are not for air purification . They have a much larger role to play in environment conservation .
