When I yawn, I know I am sleepy or I have lesser oxygen in my brain.

I kept on yawning since this afternoon. I satisfied my eyes by tking a nap, but when I woke up, I still kept on yawning. I checked my palpebral conjunctiva and it is pale. I therefore thought I have lesser hemoglobin in my body which is manifested by my frequent yawning and pale conjunctivae. I believe my blood should not be thick or viscous with too much iron content. In fact, my blood should be thin in composition for fear of producing thrombus or embolus. Coumadin in action, that is why, I should have my check-up on Wednesday.

Yawing is helps to bring inside the blood and move more carbon dioxide outside. Yawning is normal. If it continues it may be the symptom of any other problem of the body. Take care of yourself.

I am also controlling my yawning with my students online now. They are making me bored. I do agree with you that it needs for a checkup.

I check my oxygen level every morning and every evening, we bought a small instrument, because low oxygen is one of the most evident signs of people contaminated by the virus.

@ridingbet Yes, we bought a pulse oximeter, they are not very expensive, but at least we can check our parameters at home, we also have an electronic sphygmomanometer, my husband has very low blood pressure, he checks every day.

I feel the same too. Does honey really make us energetic?

honey or sugar should belong to the glow group. it energizes us. so i think the energy should be present when taking honey.

What I know is when yawning, our brain needs more oxygen.
