A little or a lot about my last three days

Some time ago my Fitbit fell out of my watch band and I have yet to find it. It wasn't under the bed although I think I forgot to double check when we moved the bed and I swept the floor. It's small enough it may have gone unnoticed. Today I looked for a phone app to count steps and I think I found a decent one. I've been going with the editors choice and the editor seems to be in the know for apps thus far anyway. I wanted it because I planned yesterday and today to tackle the wet to things in my basement and wanted to get my steps counted for all the little back and forth walking I began doing. I didn't end up getting started with that project yesterday at all but did get down there this morning.i made it about half way through. It's not as bad as I expected because we have a few plastic crates on the floor but there were two boxes so far that got destroyed. I wore two masks since there aren't any n-95 ones anywhere and rubber gloves. I'm taking a break for a bit. I just called most of the customers that called recently about getting work done. I didn't do any yesterday, Friday, because I went to the chiropractor, bank and then we got groceries and some newer shorts and nice shirts for my husband. I got my first sun hat since I thought I'd be working in the heat yesterday, and I heard we were going to have an especially hot summer. Instead of working I went to visit my grandbaby and daughter instead. My older daughter that lives with us went there too and they were discussing wedding plans as she's getting married August 8 of this year. After supper on Thursday my sil (sister in law) went with me to David's bridal to shop for a dress and we found one that's very flattering and hides my fat. I will share a pic of that another time. My sil bought it for me even though I can now afford things like that and she intends to buy my shoes too. I tried one dress on she said was way too loose. Maybe that's part of the reason I don't like the dresses I bought for my younger daughter's wedding the years ago as it was somewhat loose and made me feel frumpy or like an old lady Back to today, I hope to finish working on the basement yet this afternoon but it's no longer a scary idea and if I don't finish it hopefully if do it before big trash day if there will be another big trash day this year.

I love that hat, it's gorgeous. The wedding is so close! She must be excited!

She is excited and until recently we didn't know whether there would be a reception this year or whether they would wait until next year. Some is still unknown as most venues won't allow more than fifty inside. But she's considering her upcoming in-laws yard with tents. Then everyone can possibly be there with social distancing if that's still a thing then.

@MarshaMusselman Sounds like an exciting time for your family. How many can come to the wedding and will it be in a church? Are you ok that you went to the chiropractor? That was nice of her to buy the dress for you. Good luck with finishing in the basement.

The basement want as bad as I anticipated as most boxed were on plastic so the contents didn't get soaked. Not as many are coming to the wedding from my side only those that life in the area. How many actually go remains to be seen the day off the wedding. I'm sure it will take place in a church. It's a small city so may not require as many rules as a larger one would. Why do you ask about the chiropractor? I've seen him for years now. I used a tennis ball in between visits. I'm not worried about seeing the chiropractor

@Hannihar I've been seeing the chiropractor offs and on for years now. I go more often if my back is worse and less often when it's either better or my time is lacking to make it there.

@MarshaMusselman You mentioned that you were going to him so I was wondering if you were ok. I am glad you are not worried about seeing the chiropractor. The basement sounds like a big job. I guess you will see when you go to the wedding how many will be there.

The battery in my fitbit fell out when I was in Cuba. I couldn't figure out how or where. It seems while I was in bed I must have rubbed my wrist across the headboard. Thankfully I found it. I use the fitbit to monitor my sleep and water intake as well as steps.

@MarshaMusselman I know what you mean. I would check it and it would say I went to bed at 3am when in fact I went to bed a lot earlier. That just meant that I was restless for a couple of hours, which is highly possible with my fibro.

I used it for monitoring my sleep too although I questioned it's accuracy as when I felt I sleep well it said I was restless and when I was up and down all night it thought I slept well. The Fitbit was my daughter's. I may get another I've sometime in the future or I may try an apple watch instead.

Sounds like you had a full day. I’m glad you found a dress, weddings can be so stressful

It's not that stressful for us since we don't have the money to help pay for it. Things are falling t into place for my daughter even though they can't have the venue they planned on at least they are getting their deposit returned.

@paigea it makes me look skinnier than I am so that's always a good thing.

I finally got my daughter to capture it on her phone although from the angle it makes my head looking larger than my body. Luckily, I took a decent selfie with it on too.

The average expected is nineties but the highest in the day is mid eighties. I don't get why they s average it higher than what it will be. The next three days will go down a few degrees and two days after that down to the low to mid seventies which are the two days we can work longer so that's good. I haven't looked further ahead yet.

@CarolDM probably but it's always been that way. Rarely is it a decent warm temp without any humidity. Yesterday they were warning against too much sun so we opted out of working. I was going to do some of a job alone but was running later than expected for my daughter's visit so cancelled the job for this week.

The battery of my wristwatch fell while I was changing it and it took several days before I could find it under the bed. I am glad you found a dress that you like for the wedding.

I have had that happen before, those little batteries are very hard to find once they fall out.
